Dealer program

Built for the people who install it.

HydroIQ ships through the same drip-irrigation supply channel you already work with. We don't ask you to learn a new ecosystem — we built the Controller around the valves, sensors, and install practices the trade already uses.

Volume tiers

Three tiers. No exclusivity. No co-op marketing requirements.

Authorized Dealer
15%

Up to 24 Controllers/year. Standard NET-30 terms after first PO. Access to the installer training program. Listed in the customer directory.

Most common
Regional Distributor
20%

25–100 Controllers/year. NET-45 terms. Demo unit + dealer kit shipped at sign-on. Quarterly co-marketing kit. Cartridge subscription revenue share (5%).

Master Distributor
25%

100+/year. NET-60 terms. Direct integration with your inventory system. Cartridge subscription revenue share (8%). Custom co-branding option for enterprise accounts.

Tier qualification reviewed quarterly. No required minimums to maintain — if your volume drops, the program adapts; we don't claw back margin retroactively.

Installer training

Two-day certification. Field techs welcome.

Designed for licensed irrigation techs and landscape-contractor field crews. Focus is on quick install (~20 min per Controller), valve swap-ins, soil-probe placement, and troubleshooting — not on the cloud or app.

Day 1 — Hardware install

  • Controller mounting and weatherproofing on fences, walls, posts
  • Valve identification and 24VAC–to–9V latching swap-in kit
  • Soil probe placement, depth, and per-zone calibration
  • Hydro Node placement for off-grid beds; LoRa range planning

Day 2 — Configuration + handoff

  • Crop profile selection from the 1,000+ catalog; custom-crop creation
  • Bloom fertigation channel setup, cartridge loading, EC/pH zeroing
  • Customer handoff: app onboarding, account ownership, support routing
  • Common faults, RMA process, escalation contacts

CertificationCertified Installers are listed in the public customer directory and receive a 5% finder's fee on Bloom subscription sign-ups for any customer they install. On-demand video recap available; in-person training scheduled quarterly in NJ, with regional sessions added as the dealer network grows.

Dealer kit

What ships when you sign on.

Demo unit

One fully-configured Pro Controller with bundled sensor 2-pack, flow meter, and fertigation starter. Pre-flashed with a demo crop profile so you can walk customers through the experience on a tabletop.

Valve adapter kits (3)

24VAC→9V DC latching solenoid swap-in kits sized for the most common valve bodies (Hunter DV, Rain Bird DV/PGV-DV, Toro EZ-Flo). For showing customers the no-replumb upgrade path.

Soil probe sample set

Four industrial RS485 probes — two short (root zone) and two long (deep-root) — for site evaluation walks.

Customer-facing collateral

Printed spec sheets (Base/Pro/Enterprise), the alpha field-data write-up, comparison-vs-Rachio sheet, and customer-letter template for water-rights and HOA conversations.

How we work

Honest commercials.

NET-30 starting at first PO (standard for the trade). NET-45 and NET-60 at Regional and Master tiers.

Warranty replacement ships from US inventory — advance-replacement to the customer, no waiting on RMA processing on your side. We eat the inbound shipping on the defective unit.

No exclusivity demands. Sell Rachio, Hunter, Rain Bird alongside HydroIQ if your customers ask — we'd rather earn the spec than block alternatives.

No co-op marketing minimum. The dealer kit, co-marketing materials, and certification program are free. We don't run a coop-fund clawback.

No private-label gymnastics. Authorized dealer Master tier optionally co-brands HydroIQ Enterprise units for very large accounts. Standard SKUs remain HydroIQ-branded so customers can find parts and service across dealers.
